Gift Planning with Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation
Our Policy
Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation provides consulting services to persons who seek to achieve objectives that are both personal and charitable. Our purpose is to suggest areas for thought and consideration, recognizing that each donor has his or her own unique circumstances and objectives. Discussion with a representative of Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation to explore thoughts and ideas can be productive and provide charitable possibilities not previously considered.
All discussions are confidential and without any obligation.
Join The Legacy Society of Presbyterian Senior Care. Bequests from wills and trusts, as well as other estate planning gifts, provide ongoing support to Presbyterian Senior Care of Western New York and help to ensure its future financial security. In addition, bequests have helped fund the expansion, renovation, and improvements of facilities such as the Lockport Presbyterian Home. The Legacy Society of Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation honors all persons who have advised us that they have named Presbyterian Senior Care of Western New York in their will or other estate planning document.
We encourage bequests to Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation as a statement of perpetual support for the care and welfare of aging persons. You may use the following simple and direct bequest language: “I hereby devise and bequeath to Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation the following: the sum of $________ OR ____ percent of my residuary estate.”

Gifts that Provide Income to Donors
Donors may wish to guarantee lifetime income to themselves and/or another before gifting the assets over to Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation. Charitable Remainder Trusts and other forms of annuity arrangements can be explored.
Gifts that Reduce Taxes
There are possibilities, such as Charitable Lead Trusts, for reducing estate taxes. There also are opportunities to avoid capital gains taxes. In addition, virtually every charitable gift can produce income tax deductions and reduce taxes. Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation will help donors to maximize their savings through tax deductions.
Gifts in Perpetuity
Through bequests and endowment gifts, persons can be assured that their charitable support will continue after death. The principal of their gift will not be spent, and the income will perpetuate the donor’s charity and generosity forever.
