Recovery Care Program

      In 2004 Harbour Health and Hawthorn Health developed their “Recovery Care Program,” a specialized program for individuals needing short-term care after a hospital stay for surgery, illness, disease, or injury.  The Recovery Care Program offers its patients unique living accommodations, which include complimentary telephone and cable service, as well as free van transportation to and from physician, dialysis, and radiation appointments.  The highly trained interdisciplinary team of health-care professionals who are dedicated to healing your physical and emotional injuries, the specialized equipment, and the proactive customer service program are what set the Recovery Care Program apart from its competitors.

      The goal of the Recovery Care Program is to assist every patient in returning to his or her maximum level of function.
