Auxiliary Services
“Serving in Love”
The Auxiliary of Lockport Presbyterian Home supports the residents of the Home in many ways. For example, on a regular basis, the Auxiliary hosts a number of events for the residents, including an annual picnic, various holiday celebrations,
birthday parties, spiritual life planning, and teas. They also sponsor an annual Christmas Mini-Bazaar and monthly mending. The Auxiliary meets quarterly on the first Thursday of March, June, September, and December as well as for special events.
Yearly Projects:
- Welcome gifts for residents
- Holiday corsages
- Christmas gifts and stockings
- Cable radio in dining room
- Ice cream trips
- Luncheons
- Outings
Enhancing the Lockport Presbyterian Home surroundings through special projects, the Auxiliary has provided:
- Items for new resident kitchen
- Chairs for the new activity center
- 30’ flag pole
- Time capsule
- Silverware, dishes, and linen tablecloths and napkins for the new dining room
- Memory Garden and Courtyard
